El Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP); la Fundación Grupo Puntacana; la Asociación de Hoteles y Proyectos Turísticos de la Zona Este (ASOLESTE); y el Clúster Turístico La Altagracia unirán esfuerzos para ejecutar un programa de formación, capacitación y especialización del capital humano de la zona Este del país, para impulsar la productividad y competitividad del sector turístico de la región.
Las entidades, representadas por Rafael Santos Badía, Director General del INFOTEP, Frank Rainieri Marranzini, presidente del Grupo Puntacana, y Manuel Ernesto Veloz, presidente de ASOLESTE y del Clúster Turístico La Altagracia, firmaron un acuerdo de colaboración que tendrá una vigencia de cinco años.
El Director General del INFOTEP indicó que esta firma se enmarca en los planes del presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, de impulsar el turismo y la generación de 600 mil nuevos empleos en el sector privado.
Santos Badía expuso que uno de los puntos más importantes del acuerdo es la construcción y puesta en ejecución del Centro Internacional de Formación Profesional Puntacana, “La Ciudad del Saber”, para el cual quedó constituido un comité gestor y consultivo, para su edificación y posterior operatividad.
“Este importante convenio procura, de manera efectiva, atender demandas de formación de las empresas, así como mejorar los empleos y oportunidades en las empresas del Este y de todo el país, con especial atención al sector de hotelería y turismo, para así seguir fortaleciendo la confianza del turista extranjero y nativo”, precisó.
Frank Rainieri Marranzini, presidente del Grupo Puntacana, expresó: “Desde nuestros inicios hace 50 años hemos estado comprometidos con la educación y la formación integral de nuestros colaboradores y las comunidades de la provincia La Altagracia”.
“Esta alianza público- privada tiene como principal objetivo el fortalecimiento del sector turismo, principal motor de la economía nacional y a su vez brindar oportunidades de capacitación y crecimiento al personal humano de la zona”, resaltó Rainieri.
Aseguró que con el convenio, “el Grupo Punta Cana, ASOLESTE y el Clúster Turístico de La Altagracia consolidan, junto al INFOTEP, un importante avance en la provisión de los recursos humanos y talentos que esta señera región turística sigue requiriendo con su cada vez más pujante y creciente expansión”.
Alcances de la alianza
De acuerdo al convenio, las cuatro entidades llevarán a cabo un conjunto de acciones encaminadas al fortalecimiento del sector turismo, principal motor de la economía nacional.
El acuerdo impactará de manera positiva a los habitantes del Distrito Municipal Turístico Verón – Punta Cana, y a sus comunidades Juanillo, Punta Cana, Bávaro, Macao, Uvero Alto, Cabeza de Toro y La Ceiba.
Con esta firma se busca la formación técnico profesional y mejoramiento de la gestión administrativa, operacional, productiva, comercial y de calidad en los servicios que prestan las empresas del sector turístico.
Además, impulsar los servicios de la ´´Escuela de Hotelería, Gastronomía y Pastelería de Higüey´´ del INFOTEP, acorde con la demanda de la industria turística de la región.
Las entidades se comprometieron además con la intermediación laboral y pasantías enfocadas en los jóvenes participantes de las acciones formativas implementadas dentro del marco de este Acuerdo.
También serán incorporadas nuevas carreras para la formación de trabajadores para mantenimiento y operación de campos de golf, Cadi (ayudante de golf), Paisajistas, Contabilidad, Banca Comercial, Ciberseguridad y Robótica, entre otras.
El INFOTEP, además, se comprometió a formar al personal docente del Grupo Puntacana, de ASOLESTE y del Clúster Turístico La Altagracia, como Facilitador de la Formación Técnico Profesional.
La entidad tripartita brindará a esas entidades la asesoría y asistencia técnica necesarias con respecto a la gestión del conocimiento, así como en lo relativo a la implementación de los programas que conforman el Servicio de Apoyo a la Productividad.
El órgano rector de la formación técnico profesional también designará y cubrirá los costos de las horas de instrucción del personal docente, acorde a las necesidades de formación consensuadas entre los firmantes, previa planificación anual y presupuesto disponible a ser convenido con anterioridad.
De su lado, el Grupo Puntacana, ASOLESTE y el Clúster Turístico La Altagracia se comprometieron, entre puntos, con promover entre sus miembros afiliados, el pago oportuno y regular de los aportes establecidos en la Ley Número 116-80, sobre financiación del INFOTEP.
La firma del acuerdo se llevó a cabo en las instalaciones del Grupo Puntacana y estuvo encabezada por el presidente de esa firma, Frank Rainieri; el Director General del INFOTEP, Rafael Santos Badía; el presidente de ASOLESTE, Ernesto Veloz; así como la gobernadora, Martina Pepén, el senador Virgilio Cedano,respectivamente, de la provincia La Altagracia, y Ramón Antonio Ramírez, director del distrito municipal turístico de Verón-Punta Cana.
Estuvieron presentes, también, Bernardo Orlando Almonte, gerente regional del INFOTEP; Paul Beswick, director de la Fundación Grupo Puntacana; y Manolo Ramírez (Pupilo),secretario general de la Confederación Autónoma Sindical Clasista (CASC), en la provincia La Altagracia, entre otras personalidades.
